The Cadillac CTS-V doesn’t have any other trim specs on offer or you can call it the most equipped and high-powered version of the CTS sedan. Under the hood, it carries a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that produces a havoc-wreaking 640 horsepower and 630 lb.-ft. of torque. This is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission and is available only with a rear-wheel drive drivetrain. It comes with a long list of standard features like Brembo performance brakes, 19-inch wheels, electronic LSD, adaptive suspension and many more features that can come in handy.

If that’s not enough, Cadillac allows you to opt the Luxury package that adds a panoramic sunroof, a rear-view camera, and power rear sunshade.

You can also go for the Recaro sports seats for enhanced feel.

It looks like a family sedan but the 0-60 MPH figures state otherwise as it only takes 4.1 seconds to do so. Even the Brembo brakes are a joy to operate as they bring down this over 2-ton vehicle from 60 MPH in just 102 feet. Impressive, huh?

It is one of the best handling sedans out there and can outshine any rival easily. The 2018 Cadillac CTS-V’s adaptive suspension works magic when cornering and can do it any time of the day without breaking a sweat.

Cadillac has been known for its luxury cars and people might consider CTS-V as one of them. But don’t consider it one of those Cadillacs as it built to perform be it on the inside or on the outside. The car has excellent supporting seats which are well-cushioned and the adjustable lumbar makes them even better.

For sportier feel, optional Recaro seats are a must as they have better adjustability options and provides better back support.

The CTS-V’s chassis is made of light-weight but strong sheet metal. It looks better than the CTS with the blacked-out alloys, a rear spoiler, wider and lower stance, and a big air vent on the hood to cool the engine. The aerodynamically designed body helps while cruising on high speed.

Cadillac CTS-V is built on the same platform of that of the CTS, so, expect the results to be the same. The NHTSA has given a 5-star rating to CTS and it gets high-end safety features like Lane keep assist, electronic traction control, parking aids etc.

The CTS-V is one of the best-looking performance sedans ever. It has a mammoth engine, intuitive tech, and high-quality interiors. If you don’t want a German badge on your car and need a sedan that is track-ready, CTS-V is the one to go for.
