Azshara retired from the villain scene and got a job as a salary naga at a small start up. She may be after Sargeras’s empty throne as the Lord of the Burning Legion. Or she’s after Loken’s throne in Northrend to take over the mantle of Prime Designate of Azeroth.
Does azshara die?
With her death in the Eternal Palace, Azshara has died three times and fulfilled that prophecy. The second death took place with N’Zoth’s bargain, as her elven body was destroyed and she was reborn as a naga. The third death took place at the end of the Eternal Palace raid, as Azshara was defeated by the players.
Why is azshara being tortured?
She planned to kill N’Zoth herself with Xal’atah after she used us to free N’Zoth. N’Zoth knew this and is getting back at her. It’s implied she also spent the whole time he was imprisoned baiting him about how powerless he was.

Adding to what everyone said, Lady Vashj and the other Naga were instructed to join Illidan to make sure he did the job. And when he finally beat the Legion, they were to kill him. Even though Illidan was a fel-being himself, he was the only one who had the correct idea when it came to how to defeat the Legion.

How do you kill the Lurker Below?
You need to have the Off Tank 2nd on aggro, or when the Lurker does his Whirl and knocks back the MT out of melee range, he will attack the next target on his aggro list. 45 seconds into the fight he will start his first Spout. Drop into the water and then get out again and continue DPS.
