Although the company is better known for its electric guitars, Schecter makes some solid-quality acoustics. However, these might get a bit expensive for average acoustic guitars, although the price is most certainly justified with the design, build quality, playability, and outstanding tone.

Is Jackson or Ibanez better?

Jacksons are good guitars, but i would recommend Ibanez for anyone. they make consistently great guitars and they probably have the best necks on any guitars i’ve ever played. the pickups and all the other stuff is great too. they always get fantastic reviews in GuitarPlayer which has very rigorous testing standards.

Your Schecter has been set-up by our professional Diamond Series Quality Control Personnel to it’s optimum performance with the string gauge supplied, GHS 10 – 46. Each one has a hand signed sticker on the back of the guitar indicated who has set-up the guitar.

How do you date a Schecter guitar?

The first two numerical digits of the serial number (found on the back of the headstock) will tell you what year the instrument was made. For example, for serial number 0236758, the “02” indicates that the guitar was made in 2002; for serial number W the “10” indicates that the guitar was made in 2010.
