Is Mica powder safe for soap?
Micas work great in melt and pour soap, with no possibility of morphing. If you are using a clear, transparent or translucent base, we recommend about 1/2 a teaspoon per pound to achieve a nice, strong pearl effect. Simply add the powder into your melted melt and pour soap base.
How do you mix mica powder in soap?
You can use up to ½ teaspoon per pound of soap. Mix 1 teaspoon of mica with 1 tablespoon of 99% isopropyl alcohol. Add ¼ teaspoon of dispersed color to the melted soap until you get a color you like.

Can you use mica powder air dry clay?
Yes, but it would partly depend on how you plan to use them “for” air-dry clay. If you put them on the surface of wet air-dry clays, they may stick (especially if rubbed into the surface well) although not as well as on polymer clay, but air-dry clays shrink while drying so the mica powder may loosen.
