Going to the beach in the summer is an absolute must. Going with your friends always makes for a fun time, but having a solo beach day can also be exactly what you need, even if there are some struggles of going to the beach alone. I’m a huge advocate for solo beach trips. In fact, I do it as much as I can.

Why can’t we swim up in the ocean?
A: It’s a form of decompression sickness initially observed in deep sea divers. At great depths under water the excess pressure causes nitrogen gas to be absorbed into the blood. If the diver surfaces too quickly the nitrogen forms bubbles in the blood which raise havoc in the body.
