In the main room, destroy the idol for another Soul of Nadalia, Bride of Ash (fragment), to make taking on the enemies in this room easier. At the end of the room, a lever on the left can be used to open the metal door. Go through the door and turn left. Ashen Warriors will emerge from the ash.

If you remove all of your gear, it can’t affect you. At that point you just run down towards the Blue Smelter Demon, avoiding every enemy.

The Iron Passage is a location in Dark Souls II: Crown of the Old Iron King. It is a series of tunnels underneath Brume Tower. To get there you need to go down one elevator from the Foyer bonfire in Brume Tower and then use Tower Key on the small grate door next to you.
