Can you freeze au jus?
You can freeze au jus to save for later. I like to pour my leftovers into an ice cube tray, then when it’s frozen solid, put the cubes in a labeled freezer bag. Frozen au jus will stay good indefinitely if kept continuously frozen.
Can you save au jus?
I pour mine into mason jars and into the fridge. Leave the fat as it seals the top of the jelly and keeps it from getting moldy for many months. I use the au jus for soup, french dip, gravy. If your going to braze some beef roast etc, use it there also.

We’ve provided Au Jus sauce for reheating the Prime Rib. Reheat Au Jus on a saucepan to boiling simmer or at 170 degrees. Using care, pour the hot Ay Jus sauce into pan with the Prime Rib and allow to soak. If not, use good judgment and add hot water to the Au Jus sauce.
