1 Answer. Most likely there isn’t enough ferromagnetic material in the base of the pan or it’s of an incorrect dimension. If your range is very sensitive it won’t detect the pan and thus won’t activate. Place the magnet on the base of the pot/pan and make sure it has a strong magnetic pull.
