Should I finish bloodborne before DLC?

DLC is balanced as end-game content. There are benefits to going into it as soon as you reach it, since you can suicide run to some of the strongest (strongest in Bloodborne isn’t a huge difference) armor, a few new weapons, and some early Chunks to upgrade your weapons.

long answer: the dlc is the best part of bloodborne for me, if you love the maingame then you will love the dlc, the bosses are all cool and the new weapons, enemys and armor sets are all awesome too. The DLC is probably the best DLC i’ve ever played so I’d recommend it 100%, well worth the money.

Even if you haven’t played through all of Bloodborne the DLC is worth it. Obviously, if you can’t get past the first few bosses in the main game it would be dumb to pick it up, but otherwise it is a must have. There is an NPC that help you get through the first boss, even if you are only around level 30 or so.
