What if there is no cars?
Without cars, more cities would be like Manhattan. Tall buildings served by elevators would make more housing sense if there was no easy way to travel away from the urban core. Making any sort of journey would mean first making plans to travel—the impromptu “road trip” would never have existed.

Cars are needed for transportation. People drive cars so that they can have the freedom they need to be able to get where they need to go when they need to get there. Driving a car is not overly difficult and gives someone the ability to travel large or small distances much quicker than walking.

Definitely a want. You might think you NEED a car to get around, but that simply isn’t so. There are so many ways to get places without your own car… So no, you really don’t need a car, but many people WANT a car, because it can make life easier.

If you’re risk-averse, a new car is probably your best choice. It’s going to be more reliable, and if anything breaks, it’s covered by a bumper-to-bumper warranty. Although your monthly costs are higher, there are no surprise expenses. However, a person who’s willing to shoulder risk is a person who will save money.
