Being a mystic is a lifelong process of learning and deep contemplation which you can’t afford to treat as a game. Identifying the spiritual practice or tradition which speaks to you and starts answering the questions you’re interested in is step one. But then your real work starts.

To use the first Mystic Arte for each character simply hold L2 while attacking an enemy. As long as you have at least 3 BG, you’ll perform your first Mystic Arte! To use the second Mystic Arte, you’ll need to do a little more work. Once you chain at least 8 artes together, then hold L2 during the last arte’s animation.

How do you get the third Mystic Arte in tales of Berseria?
You need to unlock their final Break Soul in the final dungeon (not the EX dungeon) by beating 6 bosses that corresponds to a colored orb. Once they have their final Break Soul, they can learn their final Mystic Arte by level up, ranging from 60-66 IIRC.

- Setting the combo to: spirit drop > spirit drop > spirit drop > crown fire/aqua split.
- At the end of combo, hold L2 to cast the stronger variant instead.
- Dashing/cancelling her break soul until I’m able to cast a highest ranked break arte.
- Trying to use her break soul when multiple casters are casting simultaneously.
