Feed each sheet individually, as you would paper. Print on either side of the shrink plastic sheet both sides of the shrink plastic are inkjet coated. Steps for making shrinky dinks
- Obtain a piece of #6 plastic (polystyrene).
- Cut any excess plastic away to make a flat sheet (use both the top and the bottom), and recycle the excess.
- Draw or write your desired image or text on your shrinky dink paper using permanent markers.
How do you make Shrinky Dink charms?
Pre-heat your oven to 275 degrees Fahrenheit. Place a sheet of parchment paper (the cut-out side of a paper grocery bag works just as well) on your baking sheet and place your charms on top of that. Can you seal Shrinky Dinks with Mod Podge?
Mod Podge: Recommended by a couple of readers, but this was not tested as part of the lab. Nail Polish: Apparently works really well, but note that it can yellow over time.
Is embossing powder waterproof?
The powders should melt to a nice smooth finish. Final note: Embossing is waterproof to a degree as it won’t wash off with water alone, and gentle hand wash is fine.
