Removable Rivets are two-piece nylon rivets which can be removed by retracting the pin, and then the body.

Can you reuse a rivet?

Natually you can not reuse it. Metal rivets are tuff to undo. If dealing with metal rivets, take a flathead screwdriver and hammer, and just chip the top of the rivet away.

How do you remove and reuse a rivet?

Use your hammer and chisel to chip off any pieces of the head that remain. Place the chisel against the top of the rivet. Once the head of the rivet has been removed, you can work to punch the rivet through the surface. Place the thin end of the chisel against the rivet and hold it securely in place.

What is the difference between a blind rivet and a pop rivet?

A blind rivet is a rivet that can be completely installed from one side, unlike machine screws and nuts, which requires access to both sides of the material. Blind rivets are also known as “pop” rivets because POP® is one brand of blind rivets.
