Why they didn’t use the Eagles?
The eagles weren’t interested in the war or the ring or whatever men and elves were up to. The explanation being that the eagles don’t involve them selves in the affairs of beings below, and the only reason they come to Gandalfs aid is because he saved their king, and he owed JUST Gandalf like 3 favors.
