Is Retainer Brite safe?
As long as you use it according to instructions, which we found to be very simple to follow, Retainer Brite is safe to use. It is formulated to be gentle to plastic aligners and retainers, so should not damage them.
What can I use instead of Retainer Brite?

- Water for cleaning on the go. Water will not clean a retainer on its own, but drinking plenty of water during the day can prevent bacteria overgrowth.

What is the best cleaner for retainers?
Instead, simply soak your retainer in distilled water (with baking soda and/or castile soap) to keep it fresh. Soaking your retainer in white vinegar once a week, or taking it to the dentist to be cleaned can also help.
How often do you use Retainer Brite?
You should clean your retainers every day to keep them hygienic and odour free. Use one tablet per daily clean. The tablet will still be effective if it is broken.

Clean retainers thoroughly at least once a day preferably right before inserting them in your mouth. Use cold – not hot water. Rinsing your retainers removes the plaque, and eliminates odors. At least once every two weeks, soak your retainers in a denture cleaner, like Efferdent®, to thoroughly clean them.

Can I drink water with retainer in?
Your retainer should be intact and well-fitting to hold your teeth in position. Avoid fizzy drinks, sports drinks and flavored water, including diet varieties, fruit juices and diluting juice whilst wearing your retainers. Still plain cold water is ok to drink with retainers in.
Why do I wake up with my retainers out of my mouth?
There could be a couple of reasons why the retainer is coming out. First, you haven’t placed it in properly before going to sleep. If you are in a hurry and don’t make sure the retainer is placed properly, it may not be as far up as it should be, allowing it to become loose and fall out while you sleep.
Is it possible to swallow your retainer in your sleep?
