Do UC admissions have access to your previous applications including your old personal statement? A: Yes, the UCs do have access to the entire previous application/s and they will definitely look, mainly to check for discrepancies (date changes, Extra-Curricular switches, etc).
How do I check my UC application status?
If you do not know whether or not you have received an offer of admission, check your status.

UCs will utilize the highest SAT scores over one sitting or highest ACT composite score. We recommend you send all scores from both the SAT and ACT tests and allow UC admission readers to make determinations. Don’t stress over this; UC truly will use only your highest scores.
Where can I find my UC application ID?
Your Application ID is a 7-digit number that can be found on the receipt/summary email you received when you submitted your UC application. If you did not save this receipt, you can find your Application ID by signing back in to your UC Application and clicking on the “View Application” link.
What GPA does UC look at?
UC has a specific way to calculate the grade point average (GPA) it requires for admission. California applicants must earn at least a 3.0 GPA and nonresidents must earn a minimum 3.4 GPA in all A-G or college-preparatory courses to meet this requirement.
