What is the difference between Apoxie sculpt and Apoxie clay?
There is a pretty big difference between the AVES Apoxie Clay and Apoxie Sculpt. What I find is that the Clay is much more like…well, ceramic clay. It’s a bit grainy and does not hold it’s shape quite as nicely as the Apoxie Sculpt.

- Mix & knead together for 2 minutes until thoroughly combined and a uniform color is achieved.
- Apoxie® Sculpt is ready to use; working time is 1- 3 hours.

Sort of. Some brands of UV resin do have some heat tolerance, and you can give them a short, cool-ish bake. But you risk the resin turning yellow or even cracking and degrading. You should never bake epoxy resin.

Can you use clay as a resin mold?
I have used uncured polymer clay to make a shape and pour resin into. Yes, it generally works. What I found to be one issue is that if the surface of the clay is not completely smooth, any tiny little crack or tiny crevice will allow resin to seep into and fill.
