How do you stretch rayon and spandex?
Lay the rayon cloth out on a dry towel and gently pull the sides and bottom outward to stretch the fabric. As the fabric dries, flip it over and spread the material outward again to stretch it back to its original size. If you are trying to stretch fabric shoes at home, you can also use this technique.
How much does rayon stretch?
Rayon fibers and woven fabrics made from rayon do not technically stretch. However, rayon is very sensitive to humidity and will absorb moisture from the air. When that happens, the fabric will become longer, and, when there is less humidity, the fabric returns to its normal length.
