Biography. The Kooks (established in 2004) are a British pop-rock foursome from Brighton, UK who boast a very distinct alternative, indie-rock sound.
Why are they called the kooks?
The name was taken from the London studio where The Kooks recorded seven new live tracks along with the Arctic Monkeys and Mike Crossey, producer for The Zutons.
