How do I add a shadow in Photoshop 2019?
To separate the shadow from the text, I'll right-click on the Drop Shadow effect in the Layers panel and when the menu appears, I'll select the Create Layer option. Once that's done, a new “layer” will be created in the Layers panel. That's just the shadow.
