Do dogs feel better after being brushed?
Your dog will enjoy the loving attention, and it relaxes both of you. Brushing your dog's fur distributes the oils over their skin and fur. Brushing aerates the fur and skin as well. Good circulation to their coat and the underlying skin will help keep your dog's coat healthy and shiny.
Is it better to brush a dog wet or dry?
It is recommended that you brush your dog when their coat is dry. Wet hair can make mats worse and more difficult to remove. If you want to brush your dog's hair following a bath, let their coat dry prior to brushing.
How often should you bathe a dog?
At a minimum, it's advised to bathe your dog at least once every three months. You can wash your dog as frequently as every other week (with gentle shampoo, it could be even more frequent). When in doubt, use your judgment — if your dog starts to smell, it's probably time for a bath.
Should you brush your dog before or after a bath?
Before you give your dog a bath, be sure to thoroughly brush and comb your dog's coat to remove any tangles that could get worse once they are wet. Brushing your dog before a bath will also help remove loose hair that could clog your drain.
Do dogs like being cuddled?

How do you properly brush a dog?
We recommend using the FURminator deShedding Tool 1-2 times a week for 10-20 minutes each session. You may need to use the deShedding Tool more frequently during heavy shedding seasons. Before each use, you will want to read the deShedding Tool instructions completely. Also, your dog should be free of mats and tangles.
