Are weird and different the same?
Are weird and different the same?
"Weird" implies that something or someone isn't quite right, is a bit "off", and may even be dangerous. "Different" is more along the lines of "unique", unusual (in a good way). Weird can mean unusual, off-putting, mysterious, strange, abnormal. Different is something I do that is out of the norm.
What is the meaning of being different?
The odd one out. It's not easy being different. Being different means that you don't blend in completely with the status quo. It means that you don't perfectly fit in to the everyday jigsaw of life. It means that what works for and applies to others does not always work for or apply to you.
How many types of weird are there?
There actually are simple… Funny-weird, cool-weird, huh?-weird, interesting-weird, boring-weird (think stamp-collecting ;), dangerous-weird, innocuous-weird, innocent-weird, titillating-weird, harmful-weird, crazy-weird, disgusting-weird…
What does being weird mean?
Being weird means being noticeably different. It means being or doing something that makes other people stare, or laugh, applaud, or boo. And it's something we all need to cultivate.
