What happens if you fail all your GCSEs?
What happens if you fail all your GCSEs?
If you achieved a grade 1, 2 or 3 in your GCSEs then don't panic as you will have the chance to retake the exams, whether you want to or not. As of 2016, the Government has required that all students who fail to secure at least a grade 4 in GCSE English and maths will have to resit the qualification.
Will GCSE 2020 be harder?
So most GCSEs are now graded 9 to 1, and the very last of the new exams will be sat in 2020. 9 is the highest grade, and will be awarded to fewer students than the old A*. The new grading scale has more grades above a grade 4 than above the old grade C, to provide greater differentiation for higher achieving students.
Is it possible to get all 9s in GCSE?
Probably yes. You have to continue your studies and get good A-levels. With all 9s this should not be too much of a problem unless you will have a major life crisis (it happens). It also might happen that you are very good at school curriculum, but not so good at aptitude tests or interviews.
