Z-Bricks contains a variety of mineral products and have an authentic brick feel to them. They are lightweight, but do not easily break or chip. If you do not prefer the look of your Z-Bricks, painting them is an easier solution than ripping them out and then needing to drywall or replaster when done.

How do you cover a fake brick wall?

1) If you like the look of beadboard or shiplap, you can nail and/or glue panels over the fake brick. MDF Beadboard will be about 1/4" thick while shiplap will be about 1/2" to 1" thick. 2) First vacuum the entire surface then paint with a good primer. Cover with several thin layers of drywall plaster.
