Can your boss see your teams messages?
Your boss can see your Teams messages. The platform gives them this option. They can always ask the Teams administrator to access your account. Reading your Teams messages would be counterproductive.

Re: Chats accessible by admins? The Chat tab is for private messages between users and cannot be accessed by anyone else, other than those involved in the chat.

Why can’t I block someone on teams?
There is currently no way to block messages. The only thing you can do is use an address book policy that will simply hide your support email address in Teams.

In case you want you disable the External Communications for Specific Users. Currently this is not possible we can either disable the external communications on the Tenant Level only. Even using the Messaging Policy you cannot restrict the user from making external communications.

External users can call your team through Microsoft’s app and send messages. External access is on by default for Teams users. Go to Org-wide settings then External access to manage external access. You can click the Allow list to choose which domains you want to allow.
How do I add an external team member?
Add a guest to your team
- Select Teams. and go to the team in your team list.
- Select More options. > Add member.
- Enter the guest’s email address. Anyone with a business or consumer email account, such as Outlook, Gmail, or others, can join your team as a guest.
- Add your guest’s name.
- Click Add.
How do I switch to an external access team?
Configure guest access in the Teams admin center
- Sign in to the Microsoft Teams admin center.
- Select Org-wide settings > Guest access.
- Set Allow guest access in Microsoft Teams to On.
- Under Calling, Meeting, and Messaging, select On or Off for each capability, depending on what you want to allow for guest users.
